# BPC-157

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (15 amino acid residues) whose sequence is a partial fragment of body protection compound (BPC), a protein first isolated from human gastric juice. It is also referred to in the literature as PL 14736 and bepecin. It is a linear peptide made entirely of L-amino acids, with a central Pro-Pro-Pro motif. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a sealed glass vial. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
