Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+, β-NAD) is a coenzyme made of nicotinamide mononucleotide and adenosine monophosphate joined through a pyrophosphate bridge. It is the oxidised form of the NAD+/NADH redox pair and is not a peptide. Supplied as a hygroscopic lyophilised powder in a sealed glass vial; keep the vial sealed until use.
