TB-500
TB-500 is a name used for synthetic peptides related to thymosin β4 (Tβ4), a 43-residue, N-terminally acetylated protein and one of the main actin-sequestering proteins in vertebrate cells. Material sold under this name is either full-length Tβ4 or its acetylated 17–23 fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ), which contains the actin-binding motif. The certificate of analysis for each lot states the sequence and mass confirmed for that lot. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a sealed glass vial. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
